NivoaFlow vs Rocket Money

The Rocket Money Alternative for Canadians

Rocket Money says it is only available to users in the United States. NivoaFlow is built for Canadian accounts and registered-account room.

Rocket Money is a US personal finance app. Its site describes subscription tracking, spending tracking, budgeting by category, net worth tracking, credit monitoring, automated savings and bill negotiation, with a paid Premium tier for some of those. For Canadians the first question is availability. Rocket Money's help centre says it is only available to users located within the United States and with U.S. based banks. If you live in Canada and use Canadian banks, that answer matters more than any feature list. NivoaFlow is built for Canadian money. It works in Canadian dollars, keeps TFSA, RRSP and FHSA room on Personal and Household plans, gives a household a shared view, and explains where you stand in plain words with the working shown. It starts free, with 35 days of full access and no credit card.

Rocket Money lists a free version, a Premium tier at $7 to $14 USD a month where you choose your price, and Premium+ at $15 USD a month, with a 7-day free Premium trial. NivoaFlow starts free, with Personal at $8.99 CAD a month.

Where Rocket Money is stronger

If these matter most to you, and you are in the United States, Rocket Money lists more of them than NivoaFlow does.

Bill negotiation: its site says it will negotiate lower rates on your behalf. NivoaFlow does not.
Subscription cancellation help: listed in its Premium tier. NivoaFlow shows your subscriptions but does not cancel them.
Credit reports: its Premium tier includes full credit reports. NivoaFlow does not show one.

Where NivoaFlow differs

Works for Canadian accounts

Rocket Money says it is available only in the United States. NivoaFlow connects Canadian banks and keeps your TFSA, RRSP and FHSA room in view on Personal and Household plans.

A plain-language read

NivoaFlow explains where you stand and what each choice could do to your future. It shows the evidence behind what it says, and you confirm what is true.

Canada, as Rocket Money describes it

Rocket Money's help centre article "Does Rocket Money support international banks?" says: "Rocket Money is only available to users located within the United States and with U.S. based banks." The article names the United States and does not list Canada. We read it on October 10, 2026. Check it again before you decide, because only Rocket Money can say if that changes.

Subscriptions and bills, and the full picture

Rocket Money's site lists subscription tracking, subscription cancellation help in its Premium tier, and bill negotiation. Those are real strengths if you live in the United States. NivoaFlow does not negotiate bills or cancel subscriptions for you. It shows your recurring bills and subscriptions next to your budget, upcoming payments, net worth and goals, so you can decide what to do about them.
