Quicken Simplifi is the cloud-based, lightweight app from Quicken. Its page describes a spending plan that shows how much you have available after bills and savings goals. Quicken says Simplifi is available on the Canadian App Store and Google Play, and that it connects to the five largest Canadian banks: BMO, Scotiabank, CIBC, RBC and TD. Its page lists $6.99 a month billed annually, with a lower first-year offer. In the pages we checked, we did not find RRSP, TFSA or FHSA tracking listed. NivoaFlow connects Canadian accounts, cards and brokerages into one picture, then explains in plain words where you stand and what each choice could do to your future. NivoaFlow has a free plan with manual entry and CSV import, and a 35-day Personal trial with no credit card. Bank sync is part of the paid plans.

Canada, as Quicken describes it

The announcement does not state Canadian pricing or list other institutions, so check coverage for your own banks and credit unions before you pay.
What each is built to answer
Simplifi answers "how much do I have available after bills and goals?" with a spending plan. NivoaFlow answers "where do I actually stand, and what happens if I change something?" in plain words, with budgets, bills, goals and household sharing in the same place. If a simple spending plan is what you want, look closely at Simplifi. If you want a read of your whole situation, look at NivoaFlow.
