1. Our Commitment to Accessibility
NivoaFlow is committed to ensuring that our personal finance platform is accessible to all Canadians, including people with disabilities. We believe that managing your finances should be possible for everyone, regardless of ability.
We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our web application and mobile experiences, applying relevant accessibility standards and best practices. Our goal is to provide an inclusive experience that enables all users to effectively manage their financial lives.
Our Accessibility Vision
Financial clarity should not be limited by physical, sensory, or cognitive barriers. We design NivoaFlow with the belief that accessible design benefits everyone.
2. Canadian Accessibility Legislation
NivoaFlow is designed to comply with Canadian accessibility legislation at both the federal and provincial levels:
Accessible Canada Act (ACA)
The Accessible Canada Act (2019) aims to create a barrier-free Canada by 2040. While primarily applicable to federally regulated entities, we voluntarily align with its principles to ensure our digital services are accessible to all Canadians.
Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)
As a company based in Ontario, we are committed to meeting the requirements of the AODA and its Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR).
- We strive to meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA (AODA requirement) and are working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
- We provide accessible customer service and welcome feedback on accessibility barriers.
- Our team receives training on accessibility requirements and best practices.
Canadian Human Rights Act
We recognize that providing accessible digital services aligns with the spirit of the Canadian Human Rights Act, which prohibits discrimination based on disability. We are committed to ensuring equal access to our financial management tools.
3. Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. NivoaFlow strives to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.

"Targeting" means we are actively working toward meeting this standard but have not completed formal third-party testing. "Partial" means some criteria are met while others are in progress.

6. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts to ensure accessibility, some limitations remain. We are actively working to address these issues:

7. Testing & Evaluation
We evaluate accessibility through a combination of automated and manual testing:

Third-Party Audits
We plan to conduct independent third-party accessibility audits on an annual basis. The results of these audits, along with our remediation plans, will be made available upon request.
8. Third-Party Content
NivoaFlow integrates with third-party services that may have their own accessibility considerations:
- Plaid (Bank Connectivity): The Plaid Link interface is provided by Plaid Inc. and may have accessibility limitations outside our control. We offer manual CSV import as an accessible alternative.
- Stripe (Payments): Payment processing interfaces are provided by Stripe and meet their accessibility standards.
- External Links: We cannot guarantee the accessibility of external websites we link to. External links open in new tabs and are marked accordingly.
We actively work with our third-party partners to advocate for improved accessibility and choose vendors who demonstrate commitment to inclusive design.

Alternative Formats: If you need any NivoaFlow content in an alternative format (large print, audio, etc.), please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
AODA Complaints: If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, Ontario residents may file a complaint with the Accessibility Directorate of Ontario.
