Custom Dashboard Widgets

Build a personalised dashboard with the data that matters most to you

Last updated May 2, 2026

Overview

Your dashboard is your financial command centre. Pin the reports, KPIs, and charts that matter most to you, arranged exactly how you want them.

Personal tier required. The default Classic Overview dashboard remains available on all tiers.

Switching to My Dashboard

Open the dashboard and use the view switcher at the top right to flip between Classic Overview (the pre-built dashboard) and My Dashboard (your custom layout). Free users see Classic Overview only.

Pre-Built Widgets

Get started quickly with ready-made widgets:

  • KPI cards — Net worth, monthly spending, monthly income, savings rate, and other headline numbers
  • Budget progress — Visual progress bars for your active budgets
  • Goal progress — How close you are to each savings goal
  • Recent transactions — A compact transaction list

Click Edit Layout > Add Widget to choose from the catalogue.

Pinning Reports to the Dashboard

You can also pin any chart from the Reports page directly to your dashboard:

  1. Open Reports and configure the chart you want (filters, range, account, category)
  2. Click the Pin icon
  3. Pick where it should appear on your custom dashboard

Pinned reports respect the filters you set when you pinned them, and refresh when their underlying data changes.

Chart Builder

For one-off charts, use the built-in chart builder:

  1. Click Edit Layout > Add Widget > Custom Chart
  2. Choose a data source — transactions, account balances, budget data, or goal progress
  3. Select a chart type:
    • Bar chart — compare values across categories or time periods
    • Line chart — track trends over time
    • Pie chart — show proportional breakdowns
    • Metric — display a single key number
  4. Apply filters to narrow the data
  5. Name your widget and save

Arranging Your Dashboard

Click Edit Layout to enter edit mode, then:

  • Drag and drop widgets to reorder them
  • Resize a widget by dragging its edge
  • Click the gear icon on any widget to edit its settings
  • Click the X to remove a widget (the underlying data isn't deleted)
  • Click Done to save the layout

Use the Refresh button to force a re-fetch if you've just made changes elsewhere.
